Today was………..tiring, boring, and sorta fun.
I started the day setting up the table with Ante and while she was in the washroom, a group of early con goers went up and talked to me. I have to apologize because it was still too early for me, so my brain was half-not working. I was practically deaf, blind, and slow - aka. I was half-asleep. So I wasn’t actually sure if it was me they were talking about when her friend said that the girl was a fan of mine and my drawings. I just reacted instinctively and nodded then asked her for a hug. When Ante came back and they left, that was when it actually clicked to me - was it me they meant or Ante? Because our table are filled with our art and we could be easily mistaken as each other. If I was wrong…I’m sorry, but hey, I don’t mind being mistaken as her because she is a cool kid, but if I wasn’t, the ohmygod thank you. During the course of the day, other people have also told Ante that they were a fan of her and were glad to have met her, some even asked for a signature…those moments were cute.
Our friends soon came one by one or by groups as the con progresses, I took a break to look around and in the end I just bought an alpaca. I wanted the big one though….sigh. I was also borderline to purchasing that ARASHI concert photobooklet, but I restrained myself. I came back to the table and was again bored. Nobody commissioned me - I didn’t really care but I literally just had nothing to do but sit there doing nothing. I did go with Paint briefly to the Vanstuck picnic but I was just awkwardly standing or sitting at the side because I’m a shy fish out of the puddle. I tried to blend in and talk to people but I doubt it worked…I just came back to the table and briefly hung out with Ante. The next thing I know, my friends (not like I’ll name you guys or tag your urls or anything) kept ditching me to go somewhere so I just spaced out alone in the table or played with my camera or phone most of the time.
The con ended and me and Ante exchanged prints with each other. I also gave free stuff to the people who helped us and the people who stayed us during the closing. They are the lucky ones who got free prints and shit from both of us artists because they didn’t go home early.
I wasn’t really able to catch other cosplayers as much seeing as I was stuck in the artist alley most of the day but hey, look at these cuties!

Also, stuff that happened but wasn’t caught in pictures is ME ACTUALLY TALKING TO PEOPLE…well….most of them were my friends but…they’re still people………
What actually made me feel a bit disappointed though is that there weren’t as many people who passed by as compared to downstairs , so most of the time I was just bored. Also, Paint went hardcore manager/mother on us because me and Ante are such clutz. We were panicking back and forth and if it weren’t for her, we would be making mistakes like “10 for $1” (cough cough).
my friend cut the bangs for me because im clumsy but yeah finally have my roxy wig, we initially tried to put the curls at the sides but it turned out bad so i just took it off
also, my eyebrows stick out so much because theyre black….and i dont know what to do with them…..help?
