Here is a little Fairy Tale Stuck doodle.

When John was born, he was an orphan. Jane’s father (Dad) took him in and raised him. At the time, Dirk was preoccupied with his duties as the new ruler of Skaia - but at the same time, he was lamenting over two of his best friends’ deaths and the disappearance of one. However, he is constantly watching over John as an act of responsibility.

When he was older, John got a visit from Dirk - which he didn’t know yet that he was the country’s prince. Dirk stopped for a second and suddenly hugged him, while muttering:

“It’s not your fault. You are not alone. I am here.”

All the while John was confused and asked,

“Mister, why are you crying?”

That’s when Dirk realized, he was saying those words to himself. He was lonely the entire time.

I kinda doodled this for my Fairytale Stuck AU…but I have no idea where the heck to insert it. It’s supposed to be Jane fleeing with Jade.

Chapter One: The Heir

Is it still too late to mention that the rope on the curtain is made from dead horse manes. Actually, ALL the curtains in the palace are tied with dead horse manes. Dirk is one wild motherfucker. (No, he didn’t kill the horsies. He took it from the war horses that died during the battles. He did it out of tribute or something.)

Jane is born as an immortal. Her role is to observe the humans and judge the dying on whether they are allowed to be granted another life or not. The terms doesn’t only limit to “doing enough good deeds”, sometimes, giving people with evil minds a second chance serves a purpose. It all depends on how they tie with fate.

Her everyday job is to watch over the humans and as time passed, she grew an interest to them. As a younger immortal (sort of a lower rank), she is childish and impatient. Soon, she sneaked into the Earth and pretends to be one of them. Due to sheer fate, she involved herself with a young groom (for reference, its Dad) - grieving over the death of his wife - since she isn’t allowed to use her life extending powers through selfish desires, she manipulated the situation and made herself his daughter, at least giving him a family. She continued her existence as a human being for a while, acquiring a job at the palace as a maid, she also made friends with the prince and his page. She also became close friends with a local merchant’s daughter. She fell in love with Jake, and in the end they got married. The time was short, but she was happy.

The first time she learned she was pregnant, guilt and worry took over her. There is a chance that her child may be like her. As an immortal, she already committed sin in giving birth to a demigod. Demigods are considered dangerous since they are neither immortals, nor humans. They have the upper hand in the human realm, and since they are half-gods, they cannot be easily erased by an immortal (yes, the stronger ones can erase an existence, coughthevastglubcoughreferencecough). When she finally gave birth, they were twins. On the first few weeks, she observed. John had been a seemingly normal child, while she sensed something different with Jade. Afraid, she replaced everyone’s memories, took Jade and fled. She made it as if she had died giving birth to John. Jane figured it would be better for him to lead a human life, than associating him with her and risk putting him in danger. Heart broken (she had to leave John, and Jake just died, and she has to hide or else she has to pay her sins, yep she has a pretty good life), she raised Jade alone and spent most of her life escaping/hiding from the other immortals.

Another FairytaleStuck AU doodle.

When Roxy was raising Dave and Rose, they would go from one small village to another (hiding their identities, duh), working from bars to small diners to collect change for them to live on. (At night, Roxy would do her rouge duties, but she would never take any of the spoils.) Since she is a hard drinker, there have been numerous occasions where should would start a bar fight, while her children monotonously clean up after her mess. They are far used to it by now.

Also, before you point out why Dave’s appearance looks like a dork. Red eyes are considered pure royalty, and that they are only born once every ten generations, sometimes never. It is said that they usually dictate the start of great suffering, or the end of it. Roxy knew this and instructed Dave to hide his eye colour since he was young. She made him grow his hair to cover his face and wear dorky glasses (shades don’t exist in this world) to hide it. Dirk never knew he had children with her (cough), so if Dave’s eye colour was to be known, she is almost certain he will take him away from her. Also, part of the reason was that she was guilty about her feelings for Dirk, and she wanted him to live without knowing about it. She tries her best to be a good mother, despite her constant depression over her unrequited love.

When you’re stuck with your homework, the best way to release all pent up frustration is to doodle! Yeah! I’m not procrastinating!

Anyways, here is a little doodle relating to my FairytaleStuck AU (gosh I need to think of a better title for it before it sticks to me). I did say I was going to properly draw them in their outfits first, but I guess I’m sorta just going with the flow right now.

Basically, Dirk is the sole prince of the kingdom of Skaia, and as a royalty, he never gains any true friends along the way and they rarely come by. His only close friends were Jake, Jane, and Roxy (each has their own complicated backgrounds). All four of them swore to support each other, even if the situation has come to worse. However, just as when Dirk’s corrupt parents died, he is expected to lead the kingdom. But the wheel of fate played a mean joke on them, at the same day of Dirk’s coronation, Jake (a war hero) died during one of the battles and Jane, who was giving birth also died shortly after. And after some shenanigans that I refused to spoil, Roxy also disappeared from his life, without knowing what the reason was and if she is even still alive.

As time passed, Dirk became a good leader and a prince (he swore he was never going to marry, so he can’t become a king) and every now and then, rumours would circle around about a certain rouge that steals to give to the poor. They say it is a she because of the almost noticeable pink scarf, which is ironic because she is never caught. It reminds him of the time that he gave Roxy a pink scarf, because she always used to get lost all of the time as kids, and it was him who always finds her in the end.

She’s alive.

I mentioned before that I wanted to make a Homestuck AU. The idea just kind of first popped out in my head as a shitty “what if” with a comical sense. Then as time passed by, I found myself thinking about it, now I have the whole background story thought out - full of princes and fighting kingdoms with maidens to seek and legends to be told. I ended up drawing a proper character design, but I gave up on Dave’s because there is just no way I am good at drawing armor. After a little bit of forcing myself and thousands of references, I settled with this one. Here is a finished sketch of the beta kid’s designs - of course I incorporated their titles with it in the story. I will also add in the alpha kids after I finished drawing theirs. Bit by bit I will upload coloured versions and slowly write down their backgrounds, as a teaser, I based most of the plot at that shitty post I made.

I still only managed to think of the whole plot surrounding the kids. That alone is complicated enough, the trolls are another story. (Fucking twelve or times that by two if were also talking about the ancestors.) And I’m still stuck on how I’m going to progress, but I guess that’s my problem. I’m planning on calling it “Fairytale-stuck”, but that already sounds lame. Help.

However, I’d love to hear your drabbles on the troll’s part (because I have not enough brain juice to even begin thinking about it). Basically, the kids’ kingdom (Skaia) and the trolls’ (Alternia) are in a war caused by Dirk’s (the prince) corrupt and greedy parents. Both kingdoms are rotten to the core and are fighting over two territories, Prospit and Derse. Try to incorporate each one’s titles (like how I made Dirk into a prince, and incorporated his “Heart” attribute as being always true to his heart, or mostly conflicted because of shenanigans that I refuse to say and the attribute can also be literal like I made Jane “immortal”. Oops, I think I said too much).
